1958 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale

This gorgeous black 1958 Beetle Sedan is currently located in Southern California.
It is a very cleanly restored stock car with a great look and nice quality workmanship.
The car looks fantastic inside and out.
It is not an over-restored concours level car, but it obviously shows very very well.
The car has been resprayed in its original black color and the quality is very nice.
It is a base coat/clear coat finish that has great depth to it and shows the quality bodywork below.
All the window rubber, trim and body seals have been replaced and the car has a showroom fresh look to it.
The reflections are visible on the side in this image...she is shiny!
In this pic, the spare wheel is in place, the matching smoothie wheel and tire are now back on the car.
The front bumper is missing the overrider tube, but these are readily available and are a very easy install.
Under the hood is nice and clean
Not glossy show finish in here, but solid and clean.
The fuel tank has been painted nice and a new wiring cover installed.
Wiring is all original and in very good , unmodified shape.
Out back is a very smooth running 36 horse engine as originally installed.
This is not a numbers matching engine but it is the proper power plant for the year.
The transmission has been rebuilt and it is a wonderful runner and driver.
Still all stock with 6 volt electrics and proper carb and distributor.
Quite clean in here as well.
Transmission is a full synchromesh gearbox that has been recently rebuilt.
Starter looks recent as do the cables and brake lines.
The floorpan has had some patching below the battery, but the rest seems quite solid.
(this is a mirror image by the way)
Shocks look recent.
Tires are excellent.
Interior is wonderfully clean
Steering wheel has been restored ad looks great.
Dash is very clean and stock with the factory radio block off plate in place.
Carpet and headliner are the proper materials.
Shifter and brake handle look super clean.
Nice carpets and the proper rubber mats in place.
Seats and panels look wonderful

The repair manual comes with the car as well.

Headliner is the proper mohair material and looks really good.
Running boards look great.
Really a very pretty car.
There is something just so pure, simple and classy about a black Beetle.
Love it!
In closing this is a clean car that is ready to enjoy.
Great look, runs sweet...just turn the key and play.
