1965 VW Beetle Sedan with Factory Sunroof For Sale
This beautiful pearl white 1965 Sedan comes to us from Ohio where its owner, a long time VW enthusiast
has given it a wonderful restoration during his ownership.
He purchased the car in 2013 in Tacoma Washington and drove it across country on a wonderful adventure
to Ohio. The car remained a fair weather driver for him as it was until two summers ago when he set out to
bring it back to glory. The restoration is finally complete and the car is now up for sale as the seller needs
funds for a more important matter than a play toy for the sunny days.

Very nicely done car with the correct 65 only upholstery combination, square weave carpets,
correct rubber mats, all new upholstery, panels and headliner.
Very sharp car and nice quality work.
The paint is a very nice quality respray in the original Pearl White.
Done right and to factory specs with all the correct trim and details.
All new trim and rubber, everything very clean.
Original bumpers, correct two tone on the wheels
Restored steering wheel, Blaupunkt accessory radio in the dash

The car is a factory sunroof model which is a difficult find these days!
Under hood looks original and intact
Original wiring cover and trunk liner still in place.
Original jack and handle as well as the factory tool roll.
Very stock and proper looking engine compartment
looks like the correct distributor and 6 volt generator
original style fuel pump and oil bath air cleaner.
Carburetor is a more recent replacement.

1965 was only the second year for availability of the crank back steel sunroof.
New visors, nice clean sunroof crank and backing cup.
New seals on the sunroof as well.
Headliner is nicely fit
Pop out quarter windows are a great match with the sunroof for really nice air flow.
Nice to see the finer details such as the correct dome light with the white switch and the grab handles in place.
The owner slipped it out of the garage to get a few more quick photos of it for us.
Its normally tucked away nice and safe in the warm garage.
More nice details ///the correct rubber and trim and through the glass I spy the correct seat hold down strap
that most folks totally bypass during a restoration.
