1973 VW Karmann Ghia Coupe For Sale
This is a very impressive 73 Ghia that is in the hands of a fanatical owner just over the border in Canada.
He has had the car for a few years having bought it from another meticulous owner in Michigan who had had the car for 30 years!
The car is really stunning and the photos just dont do it justice.
The car is totally solid and rust free, has never been driven in bad weather and has always been garaged
and treated like the family jewel. It is located with wonderful accessories and features a performance drivetrain.
Body is mirror straigh and the paint quality is very nice.
The chrome is all like new, the wheels and tires as well look factory fresh.
Note the cool chrome headlight grilles and that wild accessory sun visor from Australia.
Rear window blinds and rear luggage rack are other unique trimmings.
The color is a wonderful emerald green, very classy.
Interior features custom upholstery and matching door panels.
The wood rim steering wheel is a nice touch as well as the matching handbrake.

The boggest upgrade is this spectacular Gene Berg 2007cc engine with all the trimmings.

The engine really gives the Ghia the sporting performance to match the sports car like design.
I have always thought Ghias should really have been a faster member of the VW family
rather than sharing the same engine with the Beetle...the car really LOOKS faster... so why shouldnt it BE faster?
Well this one is!
The car is a blast to drive and is built for street use not the drag strip.
It runs cool even at the warmer summer temps...it is well tuned and ready to fly.

Spare tire tool kit is another neat accessory that is included in the sale,
This great accessory sunvisor was imported from Australia and it clips on to the factory rain gutters.
Easily removable if desired, but I think it adds some definite personality to the car.
The rear window blinds and third brake light are uncommon additions to a Ghia but they sure look amazing.
The rear deck vents are trimmed with aluminum accessory brightwork
and the rear luggae rack attaches through the stock vents, so no holes drilled,
The aluminum wheels look like brand new as do the radial tires.
Wolfsburg center caps are a nice touch as well.
Factory disc brakes up front.
Stock suspension height, not lowered.
Chrome is excellent.

These are very expensive but the quality is top notch!
