1974 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible For Sale
This Texas based shiny red beauty is ready for a new home and summer fun.
The current owners have had the car for 19 years and have loved and enjoyed it greatly
but are not using it as much as they used to, and it has been decided that now is the time to set it free.
They bought the car from a classic car dealership in the year 2000.
It had been fully restored in Arizona at the time and thankfully due to the
excellent care it has received it still looks awesome today.
Always garaged and kept out of the element.

The top fits and functions well and shows minimal age.

The dash and interior are in excellent condition.
The car at one point must have had air conditioning as the vents are still present below the dash
but thhere is no compressor on the engine so it is not functional.
Mice modern audio in the car and a comfortable sporty steering wheel.
Seats are excellent and are trimmed in a nice grain black vinyl.
Locking shifter base is a nice security addition.
Factory seat belts.

The floors have always been protected by floor mats and show nicely.
The door sills are cleana dnthe seals and rubbers are all holding up very good.
You can just catch the cleanly mounted speakers in the front kick panels om this shot.
Door panels in two tone black and grey look very nice.

The car really shows well.
Under the front hood is nice and clean as well with a matching
carpet kit and spare wheel cover.
Out back is a excellent running 1600cc dual port engine.
Very clean engine compartment, it is even super nice around the battery area.
A couple of small changes/additions such as the chrome alternator pulley
and billet aluminum oil breather/filler.
Bosch 009 distributor and a mdern replacement fuel pump.
The air cleaner is the factory unit and even the original charcoal canister is present.
Color matched 8 spoke wheels really look sharp in the car and the tires appear to be in good shape.
Quality canvas top with glass back window is holding up nice.
In closing this is a very pretty Ghia!

Such a beautiful design and in a happy bright red it just screams "fun" at you.
